ROY MANDELl

Roy Mandell has an affinity for 17th century Dutch still life and landscape painting. Mandell has made a life-long study of the poetry of geometry and symbolism conveyed through composition. His love of nature is transmitted through careful rendering of fruit and flowers, distant landscapes. He identifies the artfulness of the working world in images of local wharves and fishing boats. His work is accessible and elevated at the same time.
